Step 1: Create the Core Website Pages
From the WordPress Dashboard, go to Pages > Add New.
Create each of the following pages one at a time:
Home
About
Services
Projects
Contact
(any other additional pages your business will need)
For each page:
Type in the title (e.g., “About”).
Click Publish (twice to confirm).
Once all five pages are published, you’re ready to build your site structure.
Step 2: Create Your Website Menu
Go to Appearance > Menus.
When prompted, give your menu a name (e.g., “Main Menu”) and click Create Menu.
On the left, select the pages you just created and click Add to Menu.
Drag and drop the page names into the desired order (usually: Home, About, Services, Projects, Contact).
Check the box for “Primary Menu” (or “Main Menu,” depending on your theme).
Click Save Menu.
Step 3: Customize Site Identity
Go to Appearance > Customize.
In the Customizer sidebar, click Site Identity.
Here you’ll:
Upload your logo (recommended size depends on your design, but use a PNG or SVG for best results).
Add your Site Title (e.g., your business name).
Add your Tagline (e.g., “Helping You Build Online Brilliance”).
Upload your favicon (also called a Site Icon):
It should be 512 x 512 px (PNG).
This icon appears in browser tabs and bookmarks.
Click Publish at the top when you’re finished.
Step 4: Disable Page Titles
By default, the Hello Elementor theme shows page titles at the top of each page—but we’re going to hide those so you can build clean layouts with Elementor.
-
From the Dashboard, go to Appearance > Theme Settings (this might show as “Hello Theme Settings” or “Page Settings”).
-
Look for an option like “Disable Page Title” and toggle it ON.
-
Save your changes.
