Step 3: Organize Your Media
After uploading, click into any file to view its Attachment Details.
Update the Title to something descriptive (e.g., “Margherita Pizza” instead of “IMG_1234”).
Add Alt Text to each image for accessibility and SEO. (Example: “Fresh Margherita pizza with basil”)
Optional: Add a Caption or Description if it helps your users or project needs.
Step 4: Edit Images (If Needed)
Click into an image and select the Edit Image button.
Here you can:
Crop the image.
Rotate or Flip it.
Scale the image down if it’s too large.
Step 5: Manage Media Settings
From the Media Library, you can:
Delete files you no longer need by clicking Delete Permanently.
Filter by images, documents, or other types using the filter dropdown.
Search for files by name if you need to find something quickly.
Step 6: Best Practices for Uploading Media
Keep image file sizes under 300KB whenever possible for faster site loading.
Use descriptive file names (e.g., “pepperoni-pizza-slice.jpg”).
Always fill out Alt Text for accessibility.
Upload only the images you need to avoid cluttering your Media Library.
