Before you officially launch your website, it’s important to double-check every element for quality, functionality, and responsiveness. This final sweep ensures your updates are complete, your forms and links are working, your SEO and featured images are in place, and that your site is polished across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Step 1: Complete All Plugin and Theme Updates
Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
Click on Updates and review any that need action.
Update plugins and themes one by one to identify potential issues if something breaks.
After each update, refresh your page to make sure nothing is broken.
Step 2: Check the Front-End of Every Page
Open each page (Home, About, Services, Projects, Contact).
Click Edit with Elementor > Hide the panel > Scroll through the full page.
Confirm the following:
All buttons and links go to the correct pages.
Hover effects are working.
Forms are submitting properly and emails are received.
Images are loading clearly and are high-quality.
Step 3: Test Tablet and Mobile Views
In Elementor, click on Tablet and Mobile view.
Confirm layout, padding, and alignment.
Check that:
Elements stack correctly.
Nothing is cut off or too close to screen edges.
Borders and spacing still look clean.
All links and forms still work.
Step 4: Fix Any Missed Styling or Spacing
If you notice any missing borders or padding, add them.
After a desktop fix, double-check that the changes still look good on tablet and mobile.
Always click Publish after making adjustments.
Step 5: Review Featured Images and SEO
Go to Pages > Open each page in regular WordPress Editor (not Elementor).
Confirm that:
Featured Image is set.
Excerpt is written (optional, but helpful for summaries).
Focus Keyphrase is added using Yoast.
Meta Description is written and includes the keyphrase.
The Yoast SEO score is green or as optimized as possible.
Mobile preview and slug URL look clean.

Your Logo set.
Your Favicon (Site Icon) set.
A clear and descriptive Site Title and Tagline (important for SEO).
Step 7: How Your Page Will Look on Google
